Tea Partiers -
We have been approached by the organizers of the Kaufman County Tea Party with a request to transfer a copy of the Kaufman County membership database to Ray Myers, one of the organizers of the group.
We are open to doing so if there is no opposition to the proposal.
We are first laying this question out for public comment and discussion, after which time we will take a vote of the Kaufman County members using online balloting.
Please share your thoughts on the proposal, pro or con, in the comments below.
Thank you.
We want the ability to work hard and select candidates for all offices here plus in state offices, which are all Republican state wide. We want to be part of the Dallas tea party still but have the option to work in the primaries. Dallas can't do that because their Democrat.
I'm not opposed to having my contact information used for Tea Party purposes, but all I've seen is that someone wants to transfer my contact information with no explanation as to how that information is going to be used.
What will Ray be able to do with a database transfer that he cannot do now? I'm just looking for a little more information so I know exactly how my information will be used.
We haven't done anything like this before. This would be the first time.
As for how the information will be used, the Kaufman County Tea Party folks will need to address that themselves.
Ray Myers of Kaufman County Tea Party. We could have better communications, if we had the email and other info for each member. I do not think there is
ifo in the database that labels the
memeber as Democrat or Republican, and we don't care, we just want responsible, conservative activist,
who are willing to be a part of the
Tea Party efforts.
